The way our gas scrubbers work varies depending on the type of pollutant and specific requirements. They work either purely physically with water or physico-chemically with the single or multi-stage addition of additives such as alkalis, acids or oxidizing agents. Typical pollutants such as ammonia, nitrogen oxides, chlorine, hydrofluoric acid or hydrogen sulphide can be reliably separated.

We offer a wide range of scrubber technologies, including packed-bed, jet and Venturi scrubbers. These are individually adapted to the raw gas data and the structural conditions of the system. Packed-bed scrubbers are used in particular when high separation efficiencies or particularly low clean gas values are required. Jet and Venturi scrubbers offer efficient solutions for solid and liquid pollutants, particularly in the case of sticky dusts or explosive atmospheres.

To ensure maximum corrosion resistance, the choice of material is always adapted to the operating conditions. Thermoplastics, glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP), stainless steels and special materials are used.

Our gas scrubbers are used in a wide range of industries, including the chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and photovoltaic industries, as well as in plants such as industrial laundries and refineries. Typical applications include HF scrubbers for the removal of hydrofluoric acid from exhaust gases, NOx scrubbers for the separation of nitrogen oxide compounds in semiconductor factories and chlorosilane scrubbers for the efficient purification of exhaust gases in the photovoltaic industry.

Each gas scrubber is designed and manufactured according to the latest technical standards. Depending on requirements, delivery is made as a system on a base frame, as a pre-assembled container solution or directly assembled on site, including piping, pumps and EI&C components.
