We are pleased to introduce Jörg Stahlhut as a new member of our management team. On 1 July 2014, Jörg Stahlhut will assume leadership of our newly created "Corporate Development" department. Together with the Board, he will determine the long-term strategic direction of the Wallstein Group, focusing on expanding our core business as well as the development of new business areas...

Jörg Stahlhut holds a diploma degree in mechanical engineering, is 48 years old, married and has two daughters. Thanks to his many years of service in the German-American SPX / Balcke-Dürr Group, he has extensive experience and a wide network in the international plant construction business. At that company, he was most recently Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the product areas "Stationary Heat Exchangers" and "Water/Steam Cycle", with offices and manufacturing plants in Germany, the USA and South Africa. Under his leadership, the business unit developed into a global market and technology leader.
Jörg Stahlhut thanked the Board for the confidence shown and is happy to be able to contribute to the continuation of the 25-year success story of the Wallstein Group. In particular, he values encountering a working environment that combines the advantages of a medium-sized family-owned company with the positive attributes of an emerging global player: actions geared toward long-term value appreciation, unbureaucratic structures with fast response times, a strong customer focus with simultaneously diverse international development opportunities.
