Tobias Trübenbacher, a Berlin-based designer and art student, has invented the Papilio street light: powered by the wind and only turning on when someone passes beneath it. A rechargeable battery stores the generated electricity, bridging periods of calm.?At the 3rd German Sustainability Award Design for sustainable products, systems and services, Tobias Trübenbacher was honored with a prize in the Vision category.?
