Wallstein Engineering GmbH (WIG) was able to win in a highly competitive environment at the company Merck in Darmstadt and received a further order in January. This includes the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a complete plant for waste air treatment and heat extraction including piping, fans, system and instrumentation & control (turn key) and corresponding documentation...
...The plant has an exhaust air volume of 15,000 Nm3/h and a thermal capacity of about 92 kW. The new system ensures that the inorganic emissions that arise in operation from various sources, are efficiently eliminated and, moreover, the residual heat of the clean gas stream is used to preheat the hall supply air in winter.
In combination with the plant installed by WIG in 2013 to eliminate organic exhaust air contents, all resulting emissions are thus eliminated sustainably and to below the required limit values .
