In our last newsletter we informed you about the current status of our new manufacturing site in China. Since there have been repeated bottlenecks in the production halls in Recklinghausen in recent years, we decided to build a lightweight hall earlier this year...
...In particular, this step was necessary in order to have the opportunity to build the large heat exchangers for power plants and waste incineration industry in their own production facilities. In recent years, we have always had to rent the production halls or rely on the manufacturing capacity of partner companies. The new hall in Recklinghausen has a floor area of 600 sqm.
The new production hall had to be ready by early April because it had to be started to assemble the gas / gas heat exchanger for the waste incineration plant in Riihimäki, Finland. WIG was commissioned by the Finnish company Ekokem at beginning of the year to deliver a 3-pass gas/gas heat exchanger. The gas/gas heat exchanger has a total weight of approximately 16 t. It will be delivered from Recklinghausen to Riihimäki, Finland on a specialist transport.
